Dryad

This is a really old work. I found the pic lurking on my harddrive, and it says 2007, but the work itself might be a bit older still. My sister had to do a sculpture as a school asignment. The theme was metamorhosis. Being a good brother I offered her my help (as usual this resulted in me doing the work). We decided to make a dryad morphing out of a tree. I kind of like it, although this is not my prefered scale - I tend to get better results if I work on tiny miniatures or full-scale costume pieces. Compared to a more recent work I´m not even sure if I improved my skill in all those years...
